The Office of 校友 Relation’s mission is to build a loyal alumni base that supports the University, its administration and programs through communication. The Office will promote the University’s goals and promote a spirit of unity and allegiance among graduates, 以前的学生, 和朋友.
The Office for 校友 Relations offers the following services:
* Serves as liaison to the 德克萨斯南方大学 National 校友 Association.
* Attends quarterly Executive Committee Meetings of the National 校友 Association.
* Represents the Office for 校友 Relations at official National 校友 Association special functions to include banquets, 午宴, 校友班会, 同学会的活动, recognition programs and other events.
* Serves as liaison in nurturing and building relationships with the alumni association and local chapters.
* Partners with the 德克萨斯南方大学 National 校友 Association in publishing an 校友 Directory.
* Maintains an open door policy for alumni 和朋友 of the university.
* Identifies and nominates alumni to national organizations for the purpose of recognizing the accomplishments of TSU alumni in the arts, 商业/工业, 社区服务, 教育, 娱乐, 政府/法律, 医学, 科学, 以及终身成就.
* Maintains the 校友 Relations website. This site enables the 校友 Relations Office to update alumni records, 发布事件, and inform alumni about special programs at the University.
* Collaborates with professionals, 在类似的办公室, for the purpose of sharing challenges and opportunities in higher 教育 alumni relations.
* Educates alumni 和朋友 of the university on ways to give and volunteer.
